AML Policy Statement
BitNationals' AML Policy is to prevent, identify and report suspected money laundering activities. Our AML Policy applies to all customers, transactions, employees, board members and key stakeholders of BitNational Inc. BitNationals' overarching objective is to ensure not only compliance with the legislative requirements but also to be proactive in identifying any possible improvements in the sector’s approach to AML.

All clients and transactions conform to the requirements of the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and Regulations (PCMLTFA). This act establishes the Financial Transactions Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC), the reporting to which BitNational shall hold itself accountable. The PCMLTFA also articulates required customer identification, record retention and other requirements which directly mitigate the risk of money laundering and terrorist financing. Bitnational shall use these requirements and refer directly to PCLMLTFA within the relevant policies.
